Is Loose Lay LVT best for acoustics?
Loose Lay LVT’s specialized backing is designed to absorb sound and provide additional comfort. It has been tested for Impact Insulation Class (IIC) and has been given a rating of 64, higher than the industry average. It is important to mention that IIC is a reliable measure for measurement of noise between the floor and the ceiling. Loose Lay provides more sound reduction compared to other flooring options. This makes it suitable for multi-family apartment complexes and commercial buildings having heavy footfall.
Do Loose Lay vinyl planks shrink?
Loose Lay does not shrink with moisture changes. The material used in this LVT is moisture expansion or contraction resistant. Any change in humidity levels in area with Loose Lay flooring will not affect the tiles. This makes it an ideal flooring solution for interiors having high probability of moisture variation and dampening like basements, kitchens & bathrooms.
How Loose Lay LVT holds onto subfloor without an adhesive?
Unlike other flooring options, Loose Lay neither requires any adhesive or staples to stick to the subfloor nor is it a click to lock flooring. Loose Lay is specially designed with such materials that help improve the friction which helps the tiles hold onto the subfloor. Only the Loose Lay tiles covering the perimeter of the installation are glued with adhesive while the area within the perimeter is simply covered with Loose Lay planks or tiles.

√ Use damp cloth to clean stains and dust. Always use a neutral pH solution to mop the floor.
√ Do not rub aggressively or scourge to remove stains.
√ Use felt pads beneath heavy furniture, appliances and equipment to prevent any scratch.
√ Do not move heavy furniture, appliances and equipment directly on the floor. Prefer uplifting these or using appropriate furniture movers to do the same.
